In Neil Simon's murderous, door-slamming farce, four couples arrive at the well- appointed townhome of New York’s Deputy mayor and his wife, for their 10th anniversary party. The first couple to arrive finds the mayor wounded and the wife and servants missing. As more guests arrive, there are cover-ups, deceptions and, of course, rumors, as the evening spins off into comic mayhem.
